Community Support
Welcome Seacoast Community!

Danvers Rail Trail
The Danvers Rail Trail Advisory Committee, established in 2009, consists of nine volunteer members appointed by the Town Manager. Its mission is to explore and promote the development of a 4.3-mile recreational trail along an abandoned railroad corridor leased to the Town by the MBTA. The Committee works to maximize the trail’s potential for diverse recreational uses, ensuring it benefits all residents. Key efforts include securing grants and funding, minimizing costs to the Town, engaging the community and abutters, collaborating with the MBTA, and overseeing the design, construction, and long-term maintenance of the trail.

Bike-Walk Alliance of NH
The Bike-Walk Alliance of NH (BWANH) educates, advocates, and activates to improve walking and biking conditions statewide. Our goal is to encourage more people to walk and bike, strengthening the economy, promoting health, and enhancing community connectivity. BWANH aims to build a strong support base, achieve policy changes, and establish a sustainable business model to serve New Hampshire’s walkers and bikers. We also engage supporters on key issues and provide fiscal sponsorship to affiliate organizations, including the Central New Hampshire Bicycle Coalition and New Hampshire Rail Trails Coalition, all working toward better conditions for active transportation across the state.

NH Rail Trails Coalition
The mission of the organization is to promote the development, maintenance, and active use of trails constructed along New Hampshire's railroad corridors. Our vision is to see New Hampshire create a world-class system of rail trails that can be enjoyed for active use year-round. To achieve this, our goals include sharing information about the planning, funding, construction, and maintenance of rail trails, while also providing a unified voice for the common needs of rail trail groups to state and federal agencies. Additionally, we aim to increase public awareness and encourage the use of New Hampshire’s rail trails, all while promoting safety and enjoyment for all users permitted on these trails.
Ride to End Alz
All routes start and finish at Hampton Beach State Park in Hampton, NH, with scenic options ranging from 30-100 miles. Riders will enjoy stunning views, cycling along New Hampshire’s coast and through Massachusetts towns. Trained SAG crews, law enforcement, and medical support ensure safety. Participants will receive a light breakfast, pit stops with snacks, and a post-Ride beach bash with live music, barbecue, and cold beer. A $500 minimum fundraising requirement is needed to participate, with 90% of funds raised going directly to Alzheimer's and dementia research. Join us in honoring loved ones and supporting the quest for a cure.
